Key Achievement:

 Executed IT transformation projects whilst providing Linux support, studying Perl scripts, and

 SAN to NAS migration: preparing the action plan for data migration from EMC to NetApp bays
 Virtualisation: assembling and wiring servers farms into 2 data center, including SAN and Ethernet

 Technology refresh: migrating W2003 physical cluster to W2008R2 using VMWare + HA features
 Axway Transfer CFT upgrade: from v2 to v3 on Windows 2008R2 servers and AIX 6.1 servers
 CFT Encryption: encrypted all communications with SSL and files with GnuPG
 DR exercises: Prepared and executed a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) procedures for Klovis platform
and CFT platform
Key Achievement:
 CFT upgrade and encryption were mission critical projects for the Bank. I led all technical teams,
stakeholders and completed rollout to production on time and reduced support costs.

 Implemented GPFS, an IBM distributed filesystem on AIX and Linux hosting Oracle and SAP, including
studying the impact of the OS upgrade from AIX v5.3 to 6.1, and RedHat from v5.7 to v6.2
 Upgraded GPFS from v3.3 to v3.4, created a GPFS filesystem for both operating systems, updated
operating scripts, and developed alert scripts for Patrol and backup and restore scripts for RedHat VM
 Optimised shell scripts, and created virtual servers for test environment, developing and upgrading
operation manuals and software installation and configuration documentation whilst delivering level
3 operation support
 Knowledge transfer and training
Key Achievement:
 Substantially reduced maintenance and operating costs.
