My client is a famous company active in the right owner’s payment for musical work, film or anything that requires authorization to be played in Belgium. At the same time, other companies that are active in the same area -but outside Belgium- are providing, on a regular basis, listing of works and payments that need to be paid to Belgian authors. Unfortunately there are sometimes errors that need to be corrected as soon as possible in order to ensure that authors will be paid as quick as possible.
Until now this process was made manually a took lot of time and resources.
My role consist of providing a new tool that resolve those errors automatically.

I joined a team responsible for the development, enhancement and administration of a web oriented Platform. My customer has developed a brand new application for social housing management in Brussels based on .Net technology and Oracle database. Because the new data model they designed was completely different from the original one, they were facing big troubles when trying to migrate old data into a completely different data model.
As an Oracle expert, I developed a migration tool based on Apex technology as frontend and pl/sql packages, database modeling, implementation and administration to implement the business logic. This application was a kind of ETL tool, but end-user oriented.
