FUNCTION:
To provide full technical support in all aspects of Cabletron and Third Party hardware and software products for existing customers, potential customers, major accounts, Cabletron partners and both Internal and Field Sales staff.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide technical support for Cabletron Sales Staff.

2) Project RAS
RAS or Remote Access Server consists of Cisco routers, Server Windows NT and software CiscoSecure ACS. This network security software permits authentication, authorisation and accounting. Protocols used are Tacacs+ and Radius.

Network management is done by UNIX HP Open View station, SNMP agent(Cisco works, Netmetrix) .Corporate backbone is used by +-2000 users located in Brussels, Bretigny , Maastricht and Luxembourg. Users can have access via local LAN or remotely via Leased lines, PSTN lines or ISDN lines and they are using FTP and Telnet.
