    Jan 2013 - Jan 2016

    • ORACLE FUSION. Chosen as Cloud solution (Oracle Fusion HCM / Payroll / TALEO / RightNow). Member of the bank’s Feasibility project team, setup to review 3rd party proposals, to select the W&G Bank technology solution for the HR Target Operating Model (TOM). Engaged with Oracle / Workday / Success Factors bid teams to evaluate their proposals.
    • Provided functional design consultancy to HR business partners for new Cloud solution. Areas included Learning, HCM, User Access, Security, Help Desk.
    • Functional design of interfaces (including Finance, Web security, HR data warehouse, Employee Screening process, AML/Fraud solutions, Time & Labor). Existing interfaces from PeopleSoft to RBS downstream systems were no longer valid for divested W&G business therefore new design from the Oracle Fusion HCM solution was required. I delivered 17 function specifications.
    • Data analysis. Processes, systems, 3rd party systems, across multiple platforms and businesses within RBS group. Delivered a number of solution papers for Technology work streams to evaluate as part of their design.
    • Impact Analysis of systems, data and process change across multiple platforms.
    • 6500 workers migrated to new business. Analysed 200+ extracts (Reports, SQL reports) to determine those that were impacted by divestment. Delivery of functional design document to decommission interfaces and web pages impacted by separation.
    • Managed SIT, Business Testing and Cutover activities for all downstream interfaces. QualityCenter tool used for these phases.
    • Investigated and resolved issues with PeopleSoft HCM business-as-usual processes related to divestment activities. This required Functional and project management skills across business areas.
    • Liaised with RBS Technology Services in UK and India to deliver enhancements to existing reports, interfaces and web portal pages impacted by divestment.

  • Overseas offices integration

    • Managed final phase of small integration project of RBS overseas offices to RBS PeopleSoft HCM
    • Resolved functional issues with PeopleSoft business-as-usual processes related to integration activities.
    • Analysis of HR data to be uploaded, working with technical team to develop data load and audit checking scripts to PeopleSoft HR (v.9.1)

  • Group Fleet project

    • Business analysis of Group HR interfaces to/from 3rd party provider of Fleet cars with a view to moving to new provider. Delivery of Risk / Feasibility document to Project management for HR work stream.
    • 110,000 employee records migrated.
    • Review and Functional design of 6 existing interfaces to streamline new business processes..
    • Functional design of new solution for 3rd party provider.
    • Technology lead for RBS Group when liaising with 3rd party supplier and stakeholders..

  • DLG Insurance divestment
    Jan 2011 - Jan 2012

    • WORKDAY. Functional design of 10 critical interfaces. Existing interfaces from PeopleSoft to Group downstream systems were no longer valid for divested business therefore new design for their Workday solution was required.
    • 16,000 employees migrated to new business / ERP.
    • Delivered functional design document to decommission interfaces and web pages impacted by separation. Decommissioning of 13 existing interfaces. Newly divested business meant that some legacy interfaces were no longer required between PeopleSoft and Group downstream systems. Analysed 200+ extracts (SQR’s, SQL) to determine those that were impacted by divestment. Managed UAT and cutover activities for all new interfaces.
    • Resolved Functional and technical issues with PeopleSoft HCM business-as-usual processes related to divestment activities.
    • Liaised with Group Technical Services in UK and India to deliver Functional and technical enhancements to existing query reports and pages impacted by divestment.

    • Functional lead for migration of 3 new acquisitions to Peoplesoft platform. Worked with Technical group to define and deliver suite of migration scripts using Component Interfaces.

    Responsibilities as part of HRIS team:
    • Functional specification design of 3 separate insurance businesses (Direct Line, Churchill, Green Flag) as part of RBS integration/migration project.
    • 22,000 employees migrated plus 10 years history.
    • Delivered functional specifications for group HR systems and management
    • Delivered functional design documents for IT/group technology
    • Liaised with technical team for data migration / integration / testing
    • Delivered training to UK based HR Consultants post-implementation
    • Worked closely with other business work streams to deliver fully integrated solution to RBS Group (Payroll, Learning, Comp & Ben, MI division). The integrating businesses data was migrated from Oracle and Northgate ERP systems to the Group’s PeopleSoft platform.

    From March 2005 onwards, I worked on the integration & migration of the bank’s Irish acquisitions. Responsibilities:
    • Delivered functional specification for integrating business
    • HR systems data migration
    • End-to-End testing of PeopleSoft components during the project (including the creation of user test scripts, project planning vis-à-vis resources and timetable, resolution of problems during test iterations, etc).

    I had a variety of roles and responsibilities over a period of 9 years. Worked extensively with the PeopleSoft ERP over this period gaining good technical and functional knowledge in the areas of HR, Recruitment and Training Admin.

    Responsibilities:
    • Deployed the PeopleSoft ERP to ICI EMEA Paints division
    • Regularly visits to EMEA sites, working closely with country HR Directors and Managers / stakeholders
    • Defined new functional processes across a myriad of business operations within the EMEA group.

    • Led the End-To-End functional testing for each of the 3 waves of deployed countries

    • Delivered core HR functional training to HR consultants and managers at various sites in EMEA (UK, France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium).
