ASVB, Collaborative platform for construction industry

The purpose of this project was to bring to the market a collaboration platform for the construction industry.
It consists in a customisation of the Documentum collaborative platform : eRoom.
My mission was to assist the company in all the phases of the development of the platform.
The project began in January 2003 year and the first version of the platform was released in July 2003.

Electrabel

Electrabel is the number 1 Belgian energy provider.
The project consisted in defining their processes for the changes of electrical drawings within nuclear plant.
Once these processes clearly defined , they had to be mapped into eRoom.
My role was to define the processes, mapped them into eRoom and propose extension of the platform.

eCEFIC

eCEFIC provides a shared, secure digital workplace on the Web for distributed project teams to do their work.
eCEFIC enables teams to discuss ideas, share information, and make decisions, all within a central location.

The aim of this project was to customize an application in ASP to manage Issues using a web broswer.
The application is divided into two parts. The first one consists in a customizaiton of an existing tool called 𠆎Room’, the second one consists in ASP pages specifically developped for the needs of a better manageabilty of the differents projects (Issues).
My role was to analyse the needs of the users and map them into the existing platform by writing down a functionnal analysis. I also took part in writing the technical analysis.

PSGM eAwareness sessions

PGSM is the strategic marketing group of the pharmaceutical group Johnson & Johnson (********).
The project consisted into developing two sessions of awareness to the information technologies. The first one at Jansen Pharmaceutica in Belgium (Beerse) and the second one at the J&J corporate Center (New Brunswick NJ USA)
The main purpose of these sessions was to make more efficient the way people use the online collaborative platform 𠇎Room”.
My mission was first designing the presentation, coordinating the activities with eRoom Technology US and finally actively take part in the different session.

The project consisted in a customization of the web based eRoom interface (********).
I was among others responsible of the quality control.

Freelance – Web architect/Sales

From the sales to the implementation of small applicative websites, I worked as a freelance for 4 months.
I used the ASP language to develop dynamic pages using database queries.

1999 - 2000
Employed in a company active in e-commerce and e-business I started as web designer.
The work quickly evolved into e-commerce specialist.
We implemented e-commerce website in different fields such as clothing, caravanning, energy, painting etc, using Intershop 4.0 (web-based e-business tool).
Though most of the functionalities were available ‘out of the box’ the extra needs were covered developing application in PEARL.
It was my responsibility to assign the tasks to the different web designers and developers.
