Within Gridgain Platform Engineering Team, I act as OPS Engineer to maintain Gridgain InMemory Platform. Activities are as below (not exhaustive list):
- Support L3 on the platform (including on-call every 4 weeks),

- Usage of Apache Tomcat as Application Server and Artifactory as sources
repository.
- Implementation of new features. Actually Nolio is put in place in order to

Gridgain Platform and maintenance and overview of the DQI. Refactory of the
datamodel has just been completed.
- Implementation of a monitoring board, with usage of Cassandra, Grafana, and

Day-to-day work and organization is based on Agile.
Agile processes are also well-known, ceremonies and roles as well.
I took already sometimes the role of facilitator (act as former role of Scrum Master) during

Within Middleware team, I act as L3 Support Middleware Messaging (Websphere MQ,
Home-Made Messaging Hub) OpsEngineer.
Main activities consist in writing of Detailed Level Designs which describe in detail how to
install middleware messaging components and do the right configuration according to the
standards.
Other important aspect of my job is the Life Cycle Management of Middleware Messaging
components. I have in charge LCM of MQ components in all environments (MQ 8 and
implementation of TLS 1.2), and platform migration (SUN Solaris/AIX to Linux and
Windows Cluster) by leading different changes and write all operational procedures.
Another aspect is participation to evolution of the solutions closely with Engineering team.
I perform L3 Middleware Messaging Support for Incident Management as well (Prio 1 and
Major).
I worked too closely with our L2 support (in Poland) in order to implement changes and
perform necessary support on Production level when needed.
Application Administrator - Distribution Channels Sales Flows (ING Belgium)

As Middleware Engineer, I'm involved in support and maintenance of Websphere MQ
Infrastructure and home-made Enterprise Service Bus as well.
Near this, I'm CODA (Configuration Data Anayst) for the Middelware Components. I'm
preparing necessary bulk uploads, and manual introduction too, in order to make the CMDB
up-to-date after each change in all environment. Usage of Business Objects for reports
generation.
This task concerns MQ, ESB and verification of TIBCO components (servers & chains).
&bull Involved in migration of Central Middleware Infrastructure to Solaris 10 platform and for
some other specific application servers (Life Cycle Management).
For this, I prepare necessary migration procedures on Middleware itself (Websphere MQ
from MQ 6 to Version 7, and upgrade of ESB itself), as well, with help of Websphere Team,
as for application side. For some applications, migration in client mode in order to connect
to Central Infrastructure.
I review implementation plan and either introduce necessary changes (following ITIL
processes) or executing or supervising the changes.
&bull Involved in migration of Websphere Client servers from AIX to Linux. I prepare and check
installation of Middleware components on this platform.
&bull Dashboards production for Incident, Problem, Change and Servcie requests analysis.
Middleware System Engineer & Infrastructure Stack and Component Owner (ING Belgium)

In addition of my activities of Middleware & Websphere MQ Administrator, I'm now holding
a position of Middleware Infrastructure Stack and Component Owner.
I'm in charge of technoligical view of Middleware stack, and particulary on Websphere MQ,
adapters and build-in Application Bus.
I'm involved in evolution and maintenace of this stack at Change level (ITIL definition), and
check if improvements are suitable and needed.
Based on a Release and Stack calendar, evolutions can go further.
