platform and improvement of this catalogue by collecting the

Realization: In the context of a SAP FICO optimization program, reports based on Legacy
systems, SAP ECC and SAP BW with BO on top needed to be reengineered. In a first
step, the mission was to make an analysis of the AS-IS reports and to collect the new
requirements from the business. In a second step, a gap analysis needed to be
performed between the AS-IS reports and the new requirements. As the optimization
has introduced new logics in ECC, this gap analysis was followed by an impact analysis.
Beside the reports analysis, I have performed an impact analysis on the interfaces
between the diƯerent systems.

Role: SAP BW 7.0 – BO XI 3.1 implementation (SAP BW, SAP FI-CO, SAP MM)
Realization: At Belgian level, BNP Paribas Fortis had a reporting solution based on the
obsolete tools SAP BW 3.1 for ETL and Business Objects 6.5 for the reporting.
The existing solution covered their business CASC (FI, CO, MM-PUR,Workflow) and HR
reporting needs. BNP Paribas Fortis wanted a new technical platform consisting of SAP
BW 7.01 SP5 for their data warehouse and BO XI3.1 OLAP universes with a redesign of all
existing data models. The main challenge was to oƯer a solution for the issues the
current solution was confronted with: data redundancy, heavy and tricky maintenance
of the universes, complex reporting strategy, performance issues, legacy system,
andend of support for the existing technologies.
