Systems Integration development
• Main Responsibilities Filled-In:
At Hamon, Peter’s assignments cannot be captured under a single
naming. At a high level, Peter added value with his insights and broad
experience regarding enterprise architectures and corporate solutions
during the definition of the future ICT business strategy. At a much
lower and more practical level, Peter implemented new JDEdwards
Enterprise functionalities like Oracle’s XML/BI Publisher around the
central JDEdwards ERP system (Versions 8.12 through 9.1). Aside of
that Peter executed as well on numerous JDEdwards analysis and
development work aside from designing, developing and
implementing numerous add-on modules written in JDE, WX or C and
others. Examples are an integrated Windows server based reporting
engine tightly integrated with JDEdwards or a web based document
generation tool that integrates with JDEdwards as well as integrating
different platforms and solutions consisting of JDE Business Services,
JDE XMLCallObject, SharePoint 2014 integration, Kyriba (cloud based
treasury platform), FlexiCapture AP Scanning, JDE AP Approval routing
and processing and many others.

At Mersen, Peter completed an audit on the migration strategy for the
65+ global manufacturing and distribution sites to the new single
global instance of JDE 9.2. Based on this audit covering process,
organisation and technology used, a tactical plan for industrialising
the process was developed.

Aisin (AWEurope) is an existing customer for decades from the era
when Peter still worked for PwC. Peter’s assignment is mostly in the
technical areas of the JDE 9.0 environment. With integration of the
Aisin logistics company, Peter co-designed and co-developed a REST
based middleware solution using WX directly integrating with JDE AIS
for managing industrial label printing and mobile logistics processes
(Android Zebra).

Customer: EDS (Ministry of the Flemish Community - Government)

• Main Responsibilities Filled-In:
At the Ministry of the Flemish Community where all ICT related matters
are outsourced to EDS-Telindus, Peter’s main responsibilities were
threefold. On the one hand Peter managed an integration project
between the Flemish and the Belgian federal government (Crossroads
Bank for Social Security) via the Flemish Magda service bus in the light
of the cross-European Limosa project. On the other hand, Peter
worked on business analysis and architecture assignments (AS-IS/TOBE) for the different business processes of the Department of Work and
Social Economy. From an IT perspective, Peter executed together with
Ernst & Young on a Business Process Reengineering project. Last but
not least, Peter was closely involved in defining the future referencearchitecture and the adoption of a Business Process Management
methodology and execution including a package selection for the
future technology stacks. This consisted evaluating Microsoft
Sharepoint with Ascentn AgilePoint versus Oracle BPA/SOA Suite with
IDS Scheer Aris. The Oracle technology stack was eventually chosen.
