1C:Development Tools has a range of means, tools and mechanisms defining a concept for quick creation
of applied solutions — data structure creation, form designing, programming business logic, creation
of interactive reports, etc. The mechanisms in the framework provide correlation between technological
capabilities of the platform AND the business scheme of development of applied solutions. So that there
are neither extra (’just-in-case’, unused) technologies, nor ’needed but absent’ ones. And implemented
technologies suffice for creation of applications for all business tasks for which they are targeted. The key
point of the framework is that the developer is isolated from the platform technology to implement rapid
application development (RAD). The RAD methodology of the framework allows the Developer to create
the business application, including the application business logic. The 1C:Development Tools framework
consists of the following basic elements: *The framework core including an execution environment and a set of basic functions and business objects. *Embedded libraries of problem-oriented objects. *Application

Vozone: The Network SDK

improve right first time (RFT) performance of network and OSS design and drive automation into the design
and development processes of BT’s network-based products. It is composed of the following components: *

Vozone Service Designer

The Vozone Service Designer (VSD) is an application that has been approved for use by the Network IP&D
platform as a means of capturing designs and design artifacts in a reusable fashion. It is built as an Eclipse
rich client and runs in a desktop environment. The tool provides an environment to fully test a design model
and produce PDF documentation and CLI fragments as its output. The Vozone Service Designer allows a
designer of a service to: * Define a service by assembling several sub-services and service atoms together
in a hierarchy in a project. * Specify information associated with each service, sub-service, and device. *
Specify behavior associated with each service and sub-service. * Test aspects of the design by running the service in a built-in execution engine. * Create visual diagrams and generate documentation from the service designs. * Share designs with other users (designers) using the Subversion or GIT.
