As an independent consultant I worked for international deployment projects for Alstom. My tasks included project management, training and writing functional specifications. Flucticiel, a Basware implementation partner in Paris, requests my services to solve blocking issues in their projects.
December 2011 –
December 2013 : Senior Project Manager at Basware SAS (Paris, France)
Acted as program manager for the International deployment of the Core model solution at Alstom.
The Core Model solution consists of Invoice Processing, Header and Line Matching and sophisticated workflow. The Matching includes Stock based Purchase Orders, General Expenses and Service Purchase Orders. The Core Model is integrated to 6 SAP systems, 2 BAAN systems and 2 AS400 Legacy ERPs. Apart from managing a team up to 12 people and, I participate in the functional requirements specification phase and I had to arbitrate between local CRs and the global core model.
May 2010 – November 2011 : Service Manager at Basware SAS (Paris, France)
Being a Service Manager for 5 different multinational A+ customers I ensured that processes for geographical roll-outs, change requests and support requests are put in place. In this role I ensured the quality of our services, controlled the costs, reported on progress and costs to the customer and I was the natural point for escalations.

Managing a team of developers and responsible for the functional requirements for Basware’s middleware tool the anyERP Adapter. The anyERP Adapter contains template scripts that allow for rapid implementation of standard P2P processes. Liaising with customers and Interface Consultants to gather the functional and technical requirements for implementing P2P processes. We implemented Scrum methodology to react quickly to customer needs. The role as Product Manager also included creating marketing material, Pre-Sales for A+ customers and participating in the R&D strategy workshops.

At Unilever HPCE Eiffel AC we developed an application that supports an integrated customer and brand business planning process at country, category and European levels. I was responsible for the implementation, of this project, in Greece, Portugal and at the head-office in Belgium. In this role I have gained in-depth experience with Oracle Financial Analyser and multi-dimensional databases as well as the ability to write programs in Oracle Express.
November 1997– February 2000 : Alfa Laval Agri Information Systems (Hamburg, Germany)
During my first year at AIS, I designed and developed a CRM application in Visual Basic. The business critical client server application, based on MS-SQL server technology incorporating database replication, provides the sales force with a front end for a transportable database. Since January 1999, I have been responsible for high-level customer support throughout the world. My duties during this time also included pre-sales activities and the conceptual design of new product features.
February 1997 – October 1997 : Stork PMT (Nijmegen, The Netherlands)
Whilst employed by Stork, I developed a multi-user database application in Visual Basic used to store and track “problem reports” and “change requests”. During my graduation task for the Rotterdam Polytechnics, I developed a multi-user database application in Visual Basic and C. The application searches and replaces text in the source code of other applications. This allowed applications to be translated into any language, thus enabling them to be internationally deployed.

During these traineeships I gained experience with Banctec’s workflow enterprise software. As a system support employee, my responsibilities comprised of the installation, configuring and trouble shooting of the software installations.
June 1994 – August 1994 : Uniware Computer Systems (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) – Traineeship
During my traineeship at Uniware Computer Systems, I developed two applications. The first to receive and print incoming faxes. The second to parse SQL for easy access to an Informix DB.
