Mulesoft SME in charge of Architecture Design Review, extension & code hardening of a multi-tenant
configuration framework built on top of a Mule ESB cluster, fronted by WSO2 Api-manager. The integrations
support Pomeroy's core IT Service Management activities with a fast turnaround client on-boarding. The
framework allows a single code base across tenants and a database/service based configuration to account for
tenant specific mappings and business logic. The resulting platform is a collection of micro-services, built for
simplicity and low-impact deployment, able to handle synchronous & asynchronous push/pull processing REST,
SOAP, AJAX, FTP\u2026 . The platform also exposes Pomeroy's REST APIs to external and internal customers,
secured and governed through WSO2 Api-manager using oAuth2. The endpoints currently supported, externally or
internally, are ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, Remedy, SIMS & Assyst.

@Petsmart - sub-contracting for Slalom Consulting, Phoenix AZ office
As Slalom's Mulesoft SME, developed API-based integrations for the Petsmart CARE project. The integration
connected 5 endpoints a Azure DocumentDB Customer-and-Orders data lake, an IBM Infosphere MDM, an
Oracle Operational Data Store, a Janrain CIM and a Salesforce Service Cloud. All integration points leveraging
REST or SOAP APIs hosted on Mulesoft Anypoint or Azure. Petsmart is migrating their Call Center to a new
solution integrated to Salesforce. Out of 32 million records in MDM, the objective was to provide a subset cache of
most active customers and their order history in Azure for gradually providing updates to Salesforce on an as-need
basis and with a sub-second SLA.

Mulesoft SME Architect and lead developer for the Digital Transformation Unit. This unit is spear heading Hertz
system migration from 100 on-premise to 100 cloud-based, replacing all legacy systems along the way with
SaaS based solutions.
Defined strategy around Mulesoft for Data and APigee for API management and governance. Review/
Enhancements of all documentation produced by Mulesoft and Xtivia. Defined best practice for all business/
functional/technical documentation to be sourced controlled, from Business Analysis, Requirement gathering, API
definition, discovery and API release schedule, to code templates, . Defined code templates for Exception handling,
Incident reporting/ticketing, Retry strategy, API versioning. Designed and developed an enterprise PubSub service
based on Anypoint MQ, clustered 4 nodes with single point of configuration. Implemented PubSub load testing
using Jmeter on single, double and quad-node deployment with 10/100/1000 requests/second benchmarks.

Mule SME and lead developer for 3-tier API integration using Mulesoft cloudhub between IBM BigMachines
CPQ, MS-dynamics CRM and Oracle e-Business Suite. Replacement of SOA Suite/BPEL by Mulesoft cloudhub
and JBPM. Responsible for Architecture review, best practices, production-readiness implementation exception
handling, retry strategies, traceability, headers standardization, RAML traits and schema validations, notifications,
posting incidents to ServiceNow with idempotent filtering, sync-async review, POC implementations, source
control management Git and continuous integration CI , code reviews and knowledge transfer.

State and USDA. Lead mule developer for converting a legacy fixed-width file dropbox feed into JSON/REST
feed through multi-layer APIs and into SAP FI module . Mule EE platform, Anypoint 3.8 runtime, RAML.

All campuses 10 of the University of California - the largest education ecosystem in the world - integrated
seamlessly to support the statewide Cross Campus Enrollment System CCES . UC of California students can now
attend online course hosted by other campuses than their home campus. The Got SOA Team was selected as the
exclusive SOA expert vendor to define the roadmap, design and implement an API-based integration with a hub and
spoke topology. The hub runs on Mulesoft CloudHub/Api-gateway while spokes University campuses are
supported by other ESBs and API Managers such as Fuse, WS02, Mule CE and Apigee. With a successful phase-1
launch of CCES, UCOP stakeholders now contemplate opening the cross campus enrollment outside the UC
boundaries to State and also City Colleges. Got SOA design and implementation robustness is able to sustain a 100
X scaling level, leveraging on best practice design and Cloudhub ability to gradually scale up, both horizontally and
vertically.

Integration & Production Rescue - Replacement of prior SOA vendor TACIT - Refactoring
Serena & Lily is a shooting start online fashion and home design retailer with an explosive growth. The Got SOA
Team was selected as Mule SME to troubleshoot critical production issues between Demandware and Netsuite,
replace the prior SOA vendor and act as interim technical team while the IT department was undergoing change of
upper and mid-level management. Following rescue procedures, DRP and scrum/agile practices, the team was able
to stabilize production interruptions, organize triage, eliminate false positives, fix bugs and refactor some mule
integration core components, leverage continuous integration and reduce performance bottlenecks by 90 .
