• Functional and technical requirements gathering.

• Definition of user interfaces together with the customer.
• Technical analysis of integration with customer infrastructure (CRM, provisioning…).

Within my own company, I develop a complete line of electro-medical systems for respiratory diagnosis.
• Specifications of measurement methodology and technical requirements for hardware.
• Development of software for acquisition and processing in real-time of respiratory signals.
• Development of test management software.
• Development of a complete quality assurance system.
• This activity is certified ISO 9001 and EN 46001 in June 1999. Systems are sold in Belgium and France. Customers range from private lung specialists to leading occupational medicine centers and renowned hospitals.

Medi-soft Software Manager 10/1988 – 08/1993
Medi-soft develops medical diagnosis systems. I am initially responsible for the development of new products and then take on the role of software manager (team of 5 people).

• Validation of prototypes in hospitals.
• I reorganize the software development process to enhance code reuse, software reliability and software testability.
• Total code is reduced by a factor of 2 and a person is dedicated to testing. Customers and distributors warmly welcome the reliability and quality improvements.
