Delivery of Multiservice

System to Aarhus Light Rail Project – response to the tendering requirements with design of the technical solution, formalized with documentation - Detailed Design, Detailed Engineering. Delivery of hardware and supervision of provisioning. Systems covered include the infrastructure of core and access network (MSN), IP telephone system and Wifi system.
• Delivery of Passenger Security and Information System to Aarhus Light Rail Project – response to the tendering requirements with design of the technical solution, formalized with documentation - Detailed Design, Detailed Engineering. Delivery of hardware and supervision of provisioning. Systems covered include CCTV, PAS, ACS deployed over the Fiber Optics ring backbone network (70 km, 50 stations).
• Truly multinational project with final client in Denmark, principal suppliers spread over Europe and China, main integrator in Italy. Various technology delivery with extensive process tracking and tight time schedule.

• Project management of PATESNG – development and deployment of service delivery platform (hardware based on Cisco UCS blade servers) providing secure, unified and flexible interface of internal SFR enablers to 3rd party customers (SOAP interface, Java GUI)
• Directly in charge of on-time, within-budget, quality-controlled development, integration, RFA, acceptance, VSR and deployment
• Day to day management tasks covered: macro planning and phase planning, reporting process definition and delivery, risks identification, countermeasure and escalation, resources and subcontractors’ management (deliveries quality assurance and daily activities). I was in permanent contact with the Customer in relation to all project activities
• Functional leader tasks included supervision and active participation in system requirements gathering (late specifications, early change requests and non-conformities), HLD / LLD edition, user manuals and training validation for the customer.
• Reporting to Project Director and supervising the team of 10 persons (50% offshore – development team in China)

• Project management of multiple parallel projects related to RAM/WHEAT - service delivery platform providing internet access for SFR mobile subscribers (Core Data - WAP Gateway)
• My responsibilities covered two areas: project management and technical expertise. Management activates included: project planning, risks identification and minimization, delivery quality assurance, tests planning and supervision, definition and maintain of SLA/OLA. I was the principal point of contact for the suppliers and subcontractors.
• Technical scope included requirement analysis, engineering study and technical feasibility.
• Examples of projects which were deployed on SFR network under my supervision:
o RAM migration from IPv4 to IPv6 (part of the project covering access and core network migration to IPv6, 6months duration on RAM, NSN Germany was principal supplier – active use of Agile/SCRUM as management methodology
o Capacity upgrades (RAM UC 2011 Lot 1, RAM UC 2011 Lot2, WHEAT UC 2011 Lot2)
o Functional evolutions (WHEAT Offload, RAM Offload, WHEAT Optimization)
