Product manager within the performance team (from January 2006 as of today)
• Product manager of IDI Web, a global in-house product made of a datawarehouse and a J2EE application. This product manages financial indices such as FTSE, MSCI.
This product has a yearly cost of that decreased from $1’000’000 to $ 600’000/ year.
My main responsibilities are
o Define the product strategy
o Manage product quality, lifecycle and cost
o Manage product communication with the steering committee, operational teams
o Manage the product projects such as Oracle migration, outsourcing testing, Add new financial providers …
o Manage 2 on-site & 4 off-shore team resources and handle the vendor management with WIPRO mainly

Various roles within the Reporting and Publishing team (from July 2002 to December 2005)
• Project manager, software developer for several applications (VB6, J2EE application)
o Ensure different roles such as project management, design, development, testing, maintenance and support of different applications and their related projects (
Opera: a reporting application written in VB6 and using Cognos,
CMS: a J2EE application offering messaging services through web services to different platform Unix, windows, vb, java…).

• Liaison architect within the architecture department,
o Define J2EE application standards (logging, testing, project structure, project release...)
o Evaluate and propose improvement on common J2EE application used in Europe.
o Evaluate J2EE tools such as Spring framework, Hibernate, WSAD …
o Evaluate architecture tools (Zachman framework, Metis from Troux)

• Architect within the data Architecture workgroup
o Define a roadmap and strategy for the data architecture in Capital Group.
o Work on defining the data flow in CG Business and the related applications.

• Software developer
Maintain, improve and enhance a datawarehouse (Sybase database) and its related applications.
This datawarehouse handle all the accounting information for institutional clients and helps the portfolio administrators to reconcile with the custodians banks all the transactions, positions and the TNA for the clients.
o Study, analyze and develop quality controls checks on the CID data,
o Optimize and tune database procedures (T-sql),
o Implement interfaces with new upstream systems
o Manage projects project proposal, analysis, design, and implementation...
