“Safety nets” contain all the software that helps the air traffic controller to take a decision by detecting all the possible conflicts and providing the necessary information to alert and advise the controller: Track Deviation Manager, Monitoring Aids, Short Term Conflict Alert, Area Proximity warning.
In charge of the technical issue between EUROCONTROL and ORTHOGON for the development of AMAN (arrival manager).
Support for Simulation: COSPACE, DOVE, 6States.
February-December 2000 Airsys ATM – Thomson CSF
Radar division, 780 Elisabeth Street, Melbourne, Australia
Created an «Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast » track simulator (ADS-B) for the EUROCAT2000 project. Encoded the ADS-B track into ASTERIX category 021 message: theoretic studies and then simulator software development (ADA, UML).
Changed the Surveillance Secondary Radar (SSR) allocation method by implementing the ORCAM method for departure and inbound flights.
