  APS is, as its name suggests, a piece of software responsible for the
  management of all the changes than can happen in the life of an A/C (aircraft).
  Each A/C will have changes during its lifecycle. It can happen during its
  manufacturing, or later in its life, even after being delivered to the client. APS
  is here to keep track of all those changes. That’s the main purpose of APS, but
  actually, since it stores all the changes that happened to each A/C produced
  by Airbus, APS also proposes complementary modules that use this data to
  offer more services. So, APS is used by Airbus, during all the phases in the
  lifecycle of their aircrafts.
  In order to manage this data, APS first needs to gather it. The data is spread in
  different applications which can be running in all the different countries where
  Airbus is implemented (those countries are called the NatCos). So APS is also
  here to aggregate the data from all those sources and to deliver some other
  data that he processed to those sites too.
