Start of service July, 2026

We are seeking a Senior Field IT & Infrastructure Specialist to support and enhance our IT operations across multiple European locations. This role sits just below architect level and focuses on advanced infrastructure support, operational reliability, and hands-on problem-solving across a wide range of technologies.
You will take ownership of system administration tasks including user and device management, permissions, security configurations, and group policies. You will support account provisioning, VPN access, and handle escalated troubleshooting. Your responsibilities also include imaging, configuration, and lifecycle management of hardware and software, covering everything from endpoints to multifunction devices and on-site technical systems.
A major part of the role involves supporting and maintaining network components such as switches, firewalls, routers, and core infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with central IT teams on integrations, alignments, and structured network operations.
You will also operate within virtualized environments, maintaining system performance, handling updates, and supporting backup and recovery procedures. Your work ensures stable operations across both physical and virtual systems.
Additionally, you will provide technical support for internal events and meetings, ensuring that audio-visual setups and meeting room systems run smoothly. You will manage identity and access processes, storage permissions, and secure administration of internal web-based tools.
The role requires regular collaboration with vendors and service providers, coordination of hardware logistics, and supporting internal teams on technical feasibility and implementation questions. As part of the onsite support team, you will handle complex 2nd-level incidents, perform hardware repairs, and help drive continuous improvement in operational processes.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys advanced hands-on technical work, broad infrastructure responsibility, and close cooperation with both operational teams and central IT—without the full architectural ownership.
