Summit business analyst and project manager for risk area

- Conducted interviews with the Front-Office, Risk Middle-Office, Back-Office, Financial Engineering, and Accounting (including Hedge Accounting) departments to build an overview of all business processes and traded financial products. The financial products concerned are mostly secured loans and bonds issuance. The loans and bonds included complex coupons such as CMS spreads and Range accruals.

- Built several proposals to replace risk related in-house development with Summit standard tools.

- Documented and took over the existing in-house Credit Exposure reporting tools.

Summit C++ developer

- Managed and implemented a Corporate Bond Trading tool project to replace the NY Aurora system and integrate the process tightly to the central Summit System. The task included discussions with users about requirements, bug-fixing and automated tests development.

- Provided third-level support on in-house FX-Swap and FX-Outright trading tool. The task included discussions with users about requirements changes, bug-fixing and automated tests development.

- Organized User-training for the in-house MS Windows interface to Summit.
This tool allowed for easier trade entry (with template system and optimized GUIs for trades), documentation generation for CDS products, FX-swap/FX-spot automated trading and Corporate Bond Trading.

Risk systems technical support

- Wrote necessary seminar material and held seminars for my technical colleagues giving them an introduction to the Investment Banking related topics theory

- Automated most monitoring and status reporting tasks of our systems.

- Managed and installed a Wiki Knowledge base application. I also taught my colleagues how to use it as well as motivating them to document our processes and systems with it.

Bloomberg Trade Order Management System administrator

- Automated all monitoring and status reporting tasks related to Bloomberg TOMS.

- Developed fully automated and easy to maintain system for BTOM overnight reports distribution using shell scripts and Unix tools.

- Provided third-level support on Mummert’s FABB/TABB application for real-time Bloomberg trade information extraction as well as interfacing to dozen of Commerzbank internal applications.

- Wrote Security Concept for Bloomberg TOMS and FABB/TABB. Wrote operation manual for FABB/TABB.

- Developed tool supporting Irish Stock Exchange regulatory reporting process using VB and the BBG ActiveX.

- Coordinated with Bloomberg and internal development departments all Bloomberg TOMS upgrades and data-feed changes.
