Role and responsibilities:
Management of the budget; defining with the stakeholders the projects to be done and the priorities.
Presentation of the project relevance, homogeneity, perpetuity, expected costs range and risks to the governance committee (GO/NOGO)
Management of the section’s staff (3 permanent project leaders and 4 engineers). Most projects are run in a matrix organization; project teams are set up by negotiation with the functional managers
Management of the portfolio by weekly dashboards updates, re-assessment and control (schedule, earned value, resources, scope and quality).
Management of the project leaders by assistance, assessment and control (functional specifications, technical solutions, cost estimations, identified risks and planning).
Insuring communication threw Projects and section meetings.
Issuance and responsibility for the commercial proposals (contracts) and their execution until roll-out and benefits assessments.
