Migrate PCGB dealer networks from ISDN Basic and Primary rate to Frame relay using the existing ISDN as a backup for the frame relay. Implement double NAT on access routers for the dealer private networks to access PCGB and PCHQ network applications. Create new PIX conduits and network access lists to support a variety of applications and new hardware on local and remote sites. Add Cisco routers, switches, WiFi devices, printers and new PC's to the PCGB network. Redistribute network routes using static and dynamic routing protocols. Responsible for the 3rd line support on a Global IP network, my Projects included a seamless global migration between ISP's, design and implement a migration from an international frame relay network to a PIX to IOS 3DES VPN solution complemented with VPDN remote access for mobile users, other projects include the implementation of a Cisco 3640 Primary rate NAS solution for dial in / out and video conference calling.

Daily duties included ensuring maximum availability to all products and services for a 24/7 global operation, setting LAN/WAN and Internet security policies and writing or modifying its relevant documentation. Installation, configuration and support of all the Cisco networking equipment including PIX and IOS CBAC firewalls, Cisco routers and catalyst switches, SMTP, E-commerce web hosting, tunneling, filtering and DMZ.
The global network consisted of Cisco IPSEC VPN, frame relay, point to point leased circuits, ISDN PRI / BRI, Fast Ethernet and FDDI, IP and IPX, Microsoft Windows and Novel Netware. I also facilitated a safe firewalled access for our 100 plus user support department to connect to our largest customers over ISDN, Leased line or VPN to support larger our Multinational organizations.
I also took responsibility for Compaq server builds, OS installs, hardware upgrades, IIS admin, SSL certificate configuration, configuring RAS, DNS, print servers, SMS remote administration, service pack updates, Windows domain admin, MS Exchange admin, active directory, NetWare 4.X and basic UNIX admin.
