DevOps Engineer – Ansible Automation Platform

Within the Automation team, responsible for managing the group's automation platform built around Terraform Enterprise and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the build-out and group-wide deployment of this platform.

You will play a key role in scaling automation capabilities across the organisation, working closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections within the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).

• Contribute to the architecture and deployment of the AAP at group scale.

• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.

• Integrate AAP with Terraform Enterprise workflows for end-to-end infrastructure automation.

• Develop and maintain automation standards, best practices, and documentation.

• Troubleshoot and optimise existing automations to ensure reliability and performance.

• Participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 6 years of overall experience in DevOps / infrastructure automation roles.

• Strong, hands-on expertise with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) – this is the core requirement.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and practices.

• Experience working in large enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with Terraform and/or Terraform Enterprise is a plus.

• Python development experience is a strong plus (scripting, custom modules, integrations).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

• Ability to work autonomously and deliver in a complex, multi-team environment.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in the financial services / banking sector.

• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Red Hat certifications (RHCE, RHCA) or equivalent.

ENGAGEMENT DETAILS

Location Paris, France (hybrid)

Start Date Early July 2025 – ASAP preferred

Daily Rate Up to €680 per day

Experience Required 6+ years minimum

Language English and French
