Oracle DBA at Groupement Berkine (Sonatrach-Anadarko joint-venture), Oil & Gaz
Upstream Industry.

Responsible of supporting the Groupement-Berkine’s Oracle Databases infrastructure to
ensure the highest standards of availability, integrity, security and performance required
by the business systems. Also the first point of call for providing database technical
support as well as managing some business applications.

Job Duties:
• Installation of Oracle server on Linux/Windows platforms.
• Creating & Maintaining of Databases required for development, testing and production
usage.
• Monitoring Alert logs for any errors, problems or processes running
• Backup and Recover the database.
• Planning and scheduling Backups, Database Recovery, taking Logical Backups &Physical
Backups.
• Knowledge in cloning using cold backup, hot-backup and RMAN backup.
• Migrating databases using various tools such as Import/Export and Data pump.
• Redo log management
• Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the databases.
• User management, role and profile creation.
• Working experience on WebLogic architecture installation, configuration, and
monitoring.
• Support of business applications (Reshum, Documentum, DataStream, Essbase, OracleEBS, Openwells, OBIEE ...).
• Report & fix applications incidents.
• I was fully implicated in the technical migration of Oracle Ebs 11i toward Oracle Ebs
12.2.4 .recently I cloned this platform then upgraded it to Oracle Ebs 12.2.7 (as a pilot to a
future upgrade project).

Job Duties:
Worked as Finance Systems Analyst, I got a good experience in supporting core finance
processes in Oracle EBS such as: Account Payables, Payments, General Ledger. I am
familiar with Oracle EBS data model and the associated technologies as SQL, PL/SQL,
Oracle Discoverer, OBIEE , Hyperion Essbase and Oracle ADI
I got also a solid experience in troubleshooting and sorting interface problems between
Oracle Ebs ERP and Infor D7i Erp.

• Administration of the Oracle e-business suite financial modules (Account
Payable,General Ledger, Fixed asset).
• Assure synchronization, transfer of the different invoices between Oracle Financial

modules and Infor DataStream.
• Error checking, correction and troubleshooting.
• Reporting using Oracle Discoverer. SQL queries…

May 2009 – Sep 2009:
System Administrator and PMS database administrator (Oracle 8i under AIX OS) at
MOBILINK (ORIA)-Algiers.

Job Duties:
• Responsible of the PMS (Payphone Management System) database Oracle 8i under AIX
OS: backup, recovery & Health check.
• Administration and configuration of the whole enterprise Active directory forest (4
sites: 2 in Algiers, 1 in Constantine and 1 in Oran) under Windows 2003 R2.
• Administration and configuration of Exchange server 2007 enterprise edition for 4 sites.
