Description: Aim of the project is to monitor the data of the attendees using an IPAD. The resources which we have used here is OpenCV(open source computer vision library) and Xcode which is an integrated development environment (IDE) containing a suite of software development tools developed by Apple for developing software for iOS.
The process mainly consists of three main processes:
- Face detector
- Face normaliser
- Face feature extractor
- Face recognizer
The facial detector looks for the face region on the input image/video source, when it finds some face then the face normaliser does some basic illumination and geometry corrections. The face feature extractor looks for the specific face feature and trains the model using normalised face and labels. The face recogniser uses models to do biometric comparison between test face and trained face and trained models and gives the output. Usually result is a distance measure: smaller distance is better.
