Deniz undertook the roles of functional administrator, tester and information analyst before, during and after setting up the HR Shared Service Center. Within this process, she had a very central role and was named as an indispensable team member by KPN and Logica colleagues.
During this period at KPN, Deniz worked closely with HR Service Managers in order to identify the needs of the business and automating them with PeopleSoft HR. In addition, she assisted them in preparing HR Business workshops and user acceptance tests. Moreover, for the Control segments, training material for online use of certain functionalities was prepared. Workshops were organized for Service delivery teams for the new e-Performance functionalities.
One of her main duties was e-Performance, mainly employee review and bonus process. The 2008-2009 collective bargaining arrangement (CAO package) had much impact on the e-Performance processes. Therefore, the process for e-performance has been customized (and also other related functionalities). In addition to the assessment process, bonus process has been designed and implemented. In 2008, this project was a pilot project for a small population. In 2009, the scale was expanded, and the majority of the KPN employees received their bonus and salary increases by means of this process.
Furthermore, VAT functionality in e-declaration module was designed and new functionality in Social Plan progress reports module is developed and the related interfaces were updated. Last but not least, anniversary worklist transactions were changed as cases in HR HelpDesk.
