IMS is an international company producing statistics and market audits for the pharmaceutical industry. These statistics are based on data collected from different sources under which the computerized pharmacies. The objective of the project was to extend the content of this collected data with the origin of the prescription while remaining within the legal limits of the data privacy protection. My role was to propose adequate technical and organizational solutions, to validate these solutions with data privacy authorities and other project partners, and finally to organize and follow-up the implementation by the local IMS project team.
