Project description: Electro-Nite manufactures and sells thermo-couples, instruments and samplers for the metal industry. They have rolled out 24 countries with SAP, using a Global Template. The implemented modules were PP, MM, SD, QM, SM, WM and FICO.
 Roles: Process Expert in charge of the PP Repetitive Manufacturing area for the Global Roll Outs in China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Italy, Turkey and Spain.
 Participated to the full projects’ lifecycles: analysis, design, customizing, specifications, developments, training, post-implementation support...
 Carried out Process Improvement activities in the logistics area: designed tools to improve the quality of the forecast, adapted and simplified the planning strategies, designed an integrated budgeting process.
 Coordinated the implementation of an international intranet centralizing process documentation and support tools. Managed the tasks of the subcontractor.
 Consultant for the WM module: Carried out change requests and corrections, and gave support.

Manager

Project description: AMP is the national distributor of newspaper and magazines to the 6000 libraries of Belgium. They decided to implement SAP MM, SD, FICO with 2 industry solutions: IS-Media (ramp-up) and IS-retail.
 Role: Team Coordinator: Managed a team of functional consultants and senior analysts. Was responsible of the logistics area (MM, SD, WM), including: distribution to the more than 6000 national points of sale, billing, MRP, availability checks, and management of daily on-site operations. Implemented a new national warehouse for the book distribution activity, using WM and integration with RF (SapWebConsole). Role was split between team management, customizing of some submodules in MM, SD and WM, and specifications writing.

Participated to a number of international SAP implementations.

Business Analyst

Project description: Full scope SAP implementation at Enichem (petrochemical industry)
 Role: Coordinated interfaces and master data conversions. Provided specifications and made the link between development and the functional teams.

Project Description: Timken is one of the main bearing manufacturers, with applications ranging from precision medical equipments to aerospace and automotive. They migrated/upgraded to 4.7 with the MM, SD, PP and FICO modules. The project was double: migrating one system and upgrading another one.
 Role: Team-lead of the Production-to-Stock part of the SAP upgrade/migration. In charge of the migration of PP, IM and WM with HUM for 1 production site and 4 distribution sites. Managed a team of 15 people. Planned project phases and monitored project progress. Followed more closely a number of functional processes aiming at improving the operations and participated to customizing points.

Project Description: Full WMS implementations with radio-frequency of 5 warehouses in France, Belgium, Ireland and Denmark. Integration between a warehouse and a production center, with a capacity of 25000 tires a day, and a storage floor of more than 58000 square meters.
 Role: Project Manager. Within a very tight project schedule, managed project resources, monitored planning, coordinated the training sessions and organized support 24 hrs a day. Customized the main flows and provided technical specifications to the development team.

 Project Description: Domtar is the third largest producer of uncoated freesheet paper in North America. It is also the leading Canadian producer of lumber. This project was focused on the lumber business and was a full scope SAP implementation with Materials Management, Project Systems, FICO, Sales & Distribution, and Production Planning for use in 16 sawmills spread over Ontario and Quebec.

 Project Role:
o Managed the technical part of the PP-PI implementation (customizing, conceptual design, mapping and developments in SAP).
o Helped Domtar re-design their business processes. The main challenge in the production planning area was to completely change the planning system from pushed production to pulled (or JIT) production, letting the demand determine how the lumber should be cut prior to transformation. Customized SAP PP and designed developments to help customer support make complex availability controls during order taking. Elaborated a system based on bills of materials for modeling lumber yield based on rough wood production.

 Project Description: Daikin is a leading producer of air conditioning systems. After having implemented the main SAP modules, they wanted to know how to improve their purchasing processes and if PP was suitable for supporting the production division.
 Role:
o Helped Daikin analyze their business needs prior to an SAP implementation, including procurement methods, MRP, Kanban shopfloor management etc.
o Organized workshops with managers from all departments in order to identify possible economies of scale with MRO purchases and proposed centralized purchasing models. Linked the business model to a possible MM implementation.

 Project Description: The purpose of this project was to design a Pilot System in Poland for controlling production costs and determine if model would be applicable to the production shop floor.
 Role: Prepared a prototype that linked the SAP-PP repetitive manufacturing and Activity Based Costing (in CO).

 Interviewed candidates and participated to case study presentations.
 Methods and Tools: contributed to the Forest Industry ‘Industry Print’ methodology.
 For the SM (Service Management) module: Helped create an Intranet Performance Support system for Cegedel Luxemburg.
 Demo and blueprinting with MM at UCB.
 For Owens Corning: carried out Intrastat roll-outs in UK, France and Belgium.
