Reporting Analyst, Payments NZ (Permanent role, October 2012 - December 2015)
• Producing statistical monthly reports for New Zealand banks using PowerPivot in Excel, SQL
queries, and VBA macros. I also answered all statistical questions from the public.
• Documents Management Systems (DMS): I designed the internal file system and managed our
purpose-built online secure DMS in order to share documents with external stakeholders.
• Administrative support: I provided software support to other team members on ad-hoc tasks such
as generating distribution lists for event invitations and PowerPoint presentations.

I would extract monthly sales data to update statistical reports. I would then use these reports to comment
on trends. I also created VBA macros to automate parts of the reporting process.

This role involved processing a backlog of invoices as well as setting up tools in Excel to track and

Main skills:
Data modeling skills: I have used SQL, Power BI and Excel-VBA skills to create reporting dashboards for a
wide variety of clients, including government departments, a banking association, and other large
businesses.
Analytical skills: as an Economic Analyst for the French Embassy in New Zealand, I was responsible for
monitoring the New Zealand economy as well as specific sectors for the French Government (Environment,
Energy, Financial Services and Transport). These responsibilities honed my ability to research, compile
and present relevant information from which I could draw conclusions – skills I had previously
demonstrated as an Economic Journalist.
