Test Development

Development Engineer Attached to the Industrialization Department within the “Gateways & Energy Efficiency Manufacturing Unit” and in collaboration with the Research and Development Unit based in France, in frequent displacements abroad, my mission consisted in taking in hand the activity of test, control and instrumentation developments for the Energy Activity in Tunisia. Including software development I ensured the industrialization of the SagemCom products by providing the developments of test and control systems in manufacturing chains as well as the metrological adjustment of the Electricity smart meters of SagemCom. Activities:

- Providing the developments of test and control systems in manufacturing chains
- Development of machine vision algorithms using NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection, NI Vision Assistant and NI LabVIEW.
- Adaption and optimization of existing machine vision functionalities
- Development of functional test of PCBA using LabWINDOWS/CVI as an IDE and Agilent 3497xA for data acquisition and measurements.
- Provides engineering support to high volume manufacturing chains
- Development of driver and VI library for communication with several Sagemcom Smart Meter (TCP/IP, RS232)
- Development of VI library to control and to perform drive tasks on a Rexroth Bosch Indradrive device using NI-Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP Software
- Experience with NI Real-Time target Compact Rio
- Experience with industrial standard communication protocols: RS232, TCP/IP, Ethernet/Ip.

Software Automation Engineer

Project: Automatic system of Data acqusition
Description: Establishment of an automatic system of data acquisition (Remote reading
water meter) at the SOPAL factory.

- Server programming (running the server program as UNIX daemon for data reception
and storage)

- Programming nodes for data acquisition (Communication via the Zig Bee protocol and
data injecting into the database).

Graduation Project

Project: Automate the validation phase of the automobile dashboard projects.
Description: During this project my aim was to automate the validation phase of the
automobile Dashboard's projects in order to reduce the lost time during this phase.

It consists of two main part:
-The implementation of an automated testing platform to ensure the proper
functionality of the embedded software in the automobile dashboard by performing a
series of tests to simulate the dashboard's indicator behavior

-The conception of an electronic system based on a microcontroller solution in order to
replace the existing voltage generator PSP (Programmable Supply Power).

Graduation Project

Study of the electrical installation in the factory of fabrication of micro-beads
Description: The project consists on doing the technical study of the electrical
installation in the factory; this study includes the power distribution, lighting, computer
wiring, CCTV and fire safety (Electrical part).

Manipulating a remote microcontroller practical work
Description: Making a model of practical work for receiving a hex file resulting from
compiling a microcontroller based project. Once the program received by the
microcontroller of the target board, it will be implemented, tested and runned on the
model.
