Nous recherchons pour l'un de nos clients du secteur de l'énergie dans un contexte international un IT Application manager / Solution Project manager sur la defense.
A Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating technical projects within our customer organization. Overall, a Project Manager ensures that technical projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired quality standards. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. The challenge of the position does not come from projects individually but from the multitude. Projects are application/product/solution rollout, applications inventory and comparison.
In addition to this, the project manager will have to participate of the support of some applications.
The mission will act in the acquisition process of a company having multiple sites (USA, UK and Netherlands) and applications are mainly in Finance and Human Resources domain.
 
Job scope:
- Project Planning and Goal Setting: Defining project goals, creating detailed plans to achieve these goals, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Resource Management: Managing resources such as team members, equipment, and budgets to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Timeframe and Budget Management: Maintaining project timelines, budgeting estimates, and status reports to keep the project on track and within budget.
- Team Coordination: Coordinating the efforts of project team members, developing schedules, and assigning individual responsibilities
- Risk Management: Conducting risk assessments and implementing strategies to minimize potential project risks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met
- Performance Tracking: Using project management tools to track project performance and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and reporting progress to management as needed.
- Application Management: Roadmap definition, Release planning, Service review
- Application support: Bug fixing, incident management, compliance to standards
Profile:
Must have:
- Technical Expertise: Having a strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and technical infrastructure is crucial. This includes knowledge of programming languages, databases, and network systems.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project is also important even if not used during this mission.
- Leadership and Team Management: Developing leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team. This includes conflict resolution, team building, and performance management.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and clients. Being able to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner is key.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to analyze complex problems, make informed decisions, and implement solutions efficiently.
- Time and Budget Management: Skills in managing project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Risk Management: Understanding risk assessment and mitigation strategies to handle potential project challenges.
- Certifications: Obtaining relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) can enhance your profile and credibility, ITIL.
