I performed the Project Manager role and responsibilities for Global label management projects/Implementation within
Solvay GBUs in Europe, Asia and Americas.
Main responsibilities :
• Responsible for PMO activities such as issue and risk management, project change management, scope
management, project governance, status reporting, business change management and communication
• Coordinate with SI for project initiation activities by providing input and performing a final review on
deliverables such as: resource allocation, project governance, project charter, kick off workshop, project plan
and schedule
• Prepare and lead project meetings, workshops and testing / training sessions. Prepare and distribute meeting
minutes for all meetings.
• Provide input, final review and signoff of all project deliverables such as blueprint design document, functional
and technical specifications, security and authorizations requirements, testing strategy, configuration
document, unit testing, integration testing, training plan and schedule, training material, UAT scripts, UAT
results, data migration plan, cutover plan, post go live support plan
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and deliverables against the critical path.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

2009-2012 Shell Group EHS/GLM deployment Manager and Global E&HS SME Shell France/Group,
Member of the Central team based in London, focusing specifically on the implementation of two streams within PLM
(Product Lifecycle Management): EH&S (Environment, Health and Safety) and GLM Global Label Management,
processes and functionalities As part of SAP Global roll-out, I had to ensure delivery of implementation activities and
business readiness for go-live.
Main responsibilities :
• Build global implementation tool-kits based on agreed policies, processes, business models and systems and
update them regularly to mirror different changes, learnings and feedbacks.
• Engage with global and local stakeholders to ensure understanding of scope and tasks and on how to drive
and communicate progress.
• Conduct the As-Is and impact analysis of target process/SAP on current local business processes, inventories
and establish gaps to meet local legal/HSSE requirements/fiscal change requirements.
• Recruit, on-board and train local implementation team and ensure they have knowledge and tools to
implement EHS, to set implementation plan with milestones, time-lines and resource requirements.
• Lead and coach local implementation team, liaise, follow up and track progress with global owner of the
various activity streams.
• Co-ordinate closure of any implementation, design or change management issues through timely intervention
and in line with the SAP/streamline project requirements.
• Support local business in transition change management and business risk management process during goLive.
• Provide post go-Live support to the business users and ensure handover to Sustain & Improve organisation.
• Ensure implementations learnings captured and disseminated accordingly within the Group.

2004-2008 B&B HSSE Manager, Shell Oil Product Africa,
Main responsibilities :
• Implement the HSSE Management System and Group Standards with particular attention to development of
contract and contractors coaching process.
• Prepare and monitor implementation of the annual and long term HSSE Plans for the B&B businesses
including Implementation of Group Standards, training & audit programs.
• Monitor the HSSE Hazards Registers to keep them alive and make sure the Remedial Action Plan is actioned.
• Track legislative and regulatory changes and keep the Management advised of gaps and any changes, which
are likely to impact upon Shell’s activities and operations.
Plan, conduct the HSSE competency profiling, analyse gaps and get the relevant trainings conducted to meet
targeted competences.
• Monitor HSSE performance to ensure continuous improvement and ensure KPIs reporting within the
designated tools and time-scales.
• Participate as expert in Business and contractors incident and Accident Investigations, ensure Evaluation,
Reporting and Follow Up and ensure learnings are shared within the company.
• Organize HSSE-MS review for the Business, support the Management in the HSSE Assurance process and
participate in Group HSSE-MS review.

2000-2003 Engineering Project Manager, Shell Morocco,
Managing multiple Morocco downstream engineering Projects in terms of cost, time and HSSE objectives and in line
with project processes. The projects were related to business growth as Depots and storage construction and/or
extension, pipelines and fire-fighting systems set up and also asset integrity and maintenance of existing installations.
Main responsibilities :
• Execute Projects’ feasibility/investigation/cost estimate studies at the early planning phase.
• Develop project management procedures and Contracts strategies.
• Prepare technical, administrative and safety specifications and supervise achievement.
• Manage Supply&Distribution contracts and contractors in line with Standards to maximize value to the
company and ensure full compliance with HSSE standards, local legislation and Business Principles.

• Supported successful projects delivery, smooth golive and hand-over to organisation in the following
countries/businesses: France, Italy, Turkey, India, China, Canada, Russia, Poland, Czech republic, Slovakia,

• Strongly contributed to prevent non-legal compliance that may lead to significant fees for the company, lost
reputation and business losses or forced withdrawals.
• Coached and supported exit from old multiple tools and Decommissioning of local legacy systems once
transition to globally authored MSDS and Label creation has been completed, this eliminates duplication of
efforts and means more efficient use of business resources.
• Reorganised efficiently the Engineering and Maintenance service in B&B by simplifying, standardising and
optimising service activities.
