Description de la mission

METRO TECH EXPECTATIONS

The Metro Techs performing the Services must satisfy the following requirements:

● Have knowledge of and be familiar with:

o cable management;

o computer components and basic troubleshooting (A+ and N+ certifications);

o Linux;

o Cisco/Juniper/Arista/Infinera OS; and

o Data Center facilities and environments.

● Have at least two (2) years of remote hand working experience;

● Be able to perform the Services independently, without supervision;

● Have experience stacking and racking servers to a battery or other power source;

● Be able to work on multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and ensuring up-time; and

● Be able to lead projects and work autonomously on servers, routers, and switches.

It is preferred, but not required, that the Metro Techs:

● be IITL and CCNA certified;

● be able to lift 55lbs (25kg) servers/network equipment; and

● have access to a car and be able to drive between sites in the same metro area if needed (hard requirement).

SUPPLIER EXPECTATIONS

Supplier has the discretion to assign any qualified and Cloudflare-approved Metro Tech to perform the Services under this SOW. Cloudflare must approve Supplier Personnel before they may begin performing the Services as Metro Techs. Cloudflare may reject and/or remove its approval of any Supplier Personnel at its discretion to the extent permitted by applicable law upon notice to the Supplier. Supplier must be able to provide Metro Techs who are able to arrive on-site at the data center location, when necessary to perform the Services there: within one (1) hour between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time (“Standard Business Hours”); and within two (2) hours outside of Standard Business Hours, if reasonably practical.

Supplier must be able to assign a Metro Tech or Metro Techs:

● who is/are available to perform the Services during Standard Business Hours; and

● with flexibility to support low peak hour maintenance (between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. local time) on eight (8) hours’ advanced notice. (If the Metro Tech performs Services during low peak hours, the Metro Tech is not expected to work during the following Standard Business Hours and vice versa).

If a Metro Tech will not be able to be assigned by Supplier within the nine (9) hour time window requested by Cloudflare, then Supplier:

● will make its best efforts to find a replacement Metro Tech, preferably someone with prior experience performing the Services; and

● will provide Cloudflare with at least five (5) business days’ notice when this circumstance is foreseeable, and at least one (1) business day’s notice or notice as early as possible when this circumstance is unforeseeable.

If Supplier desires to assign a new Supplier Personnel to perform the Services under this SOW as a Metro Tech, Supplier is required to give Cloudflare sixty (60) days’ written, advance notice. For newly-approved Metro Techs, Supplier is required to assign the new Metro Tech to understudy the roles, responsibilities, and functions of the existing Supplier’s approved Metro Tech(s) for at least a period of two (2) weeks, in aggregate, before the Supplier can assign the new Metro Tech to provide the Services on their own. The transition will be at Supplier’s cost. Cloudflare has the right to reject the assignment of a Metro Tech at any time.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The following “Services” shall be performed by the Metro Techs:

● Support data center operations and IT systems, network services, business critical processes and procedures to support the delivery of customer products and services;

● Provide technical and operational support, including as it relates to colocation, connectivity, and network products and services;

● Support internal networks, IT infrastructure, computers, electronics, and telephone systems;

● Install IT and network hardware;

● Make and run patch cables as well as verify testing cable paths;

● Oversee access to, and work within, the Cloudflare facilities, including work related to structured cable installation, circuit delivery, and equipment installations;

● Support maintenance of infrastructure, network equipment, and network services;

● Perform Data Center hardware and inventory audits;

● Process incoming shipment, label packages, and maintaining designated storage;

● Travel to nearby cities; and

● Assist with capacity and power audits.
