Reports to: Group Data Manager
• Supervision of: Team members
• Liaises with: Data Admin Lead, BI Lead, ERP Integration Team, Product Data Lifecycle, IT / Digital Leadership, IT, Architects, Modeler, Business Process / Data owners
• The position will focus on establishing and ensuring data policies, standards and practices, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall business needs.
• The Senior Data Governance Officer will work closely with Business and Functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets
• The position will have responsibility for monitoring the master + reference data quality.
• Report progress, achievements, required decisions, next steps
• Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap
• Implement an enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through classification, policies, standards and processes
• Co-ordinate MDG Team for the execution of activities and deliverables.
• Provide input for the planning of the MDG implementation
• Define and implement roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship
• Ensure master- and metadata is clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning, compliant with policies and standards
• Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and implement data related policies and measurement required at corporate level
- Has led at least two large master data governance implementations
