Nous recherchons pour l'un de nos clients grand acteur de l'assurance, contexte international Senior AWS front-end Developer.
The current system is currently used by all operating entities (present in 40+ countries). The front-end is ASP running on IIS, the business logic is Cobol running on CICS on AIX, and the database is a relational DB2. The complete system runs on premise and is perceived as stable and reliable, but honestly, our business now needs a much better system.
A number of business aspirations has been already drawn up, ranging from the ability to consume a wide range of information sources to the usage of machine learning algorithms, and the challenge is now to get the overall design right, considering the 2 main points:
The IT Strategy, including technological modernization
The renewal is intended as a piece by piece endeavor, where the “new” micro-services and the “old” monolith will run in parallel and collaborate.
The architecture is has been defined and technical choice confirmed.
The scope of the 2 first pieces to be renewed, based on business priorities, has been defined – and the related squads have been set up and staffed early 2019. The development of Company Management and of Information Providers microservices are on-going, and the related microservices are already live in production.
In parallel, the third piece, Risk Assessment, has been clarified and designed – backlogs are built, development work has been broken down and the MVP requirements set, and the development started (running sprint 3 currently).
However, we need to reinforce the squad with a senior front end developer. Development are in Angular. He/She will work together with another front-end developer, under the supervision of the Tech Lead.
The project methodology used is Agile Scrum.
