Position Title: Senior Business Analyst
Division: Information Technology
Reports To: IT Associate Director, Consumer France
Job Function Summary
Overview:
This role offers a unique opportunity to join the Consumer France business application team in a key development role for the future. Consumer France has integrated key new businesses last years and continues to grow.
This person has responsibilities around business liaison, system and data analysis, and the management of application developments and enhancements, across all functional areas within our business (Customer Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance & HR). Further details of the responsibilities of this position include:
- Grow and develop personal and team communication channels with Business Teams
- Provide in depth analysis and definition around business problems and activities
- Project manage small initiatives
- Application System support
- Take full ownership of assigned project initiatives
- Coordination of personal projects, change requests and tasks
- Support and delivery of Sarbanes Oxley compliance
- Ensure effective communication and integration with the internal infrastructure team
- Liaison with Business Support Manager on Resource management, planning and milestones Share knowledge and expertise to grow overall effectiveness of entire Application team
- Agree and manage work priorities

Key Job Activities (per IM Common Title Initiative):
· Perform analysis, design, implementation & maintenance activities in IT under minimal direction.
· Work independently and lead assignments/projects of moderate to high complexity following company development methodology.
· Provide coaching and guidance to peers, junior team members, co-ops and/or external consultants.
· Identify, research and validate innovative solutions applying the concepts of appropriate methodologies.
· Partner with business partner community to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems or improve existing processes.
· Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to Information Management and business partners.
· Interface with suppliers and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services and make recommendations.
· Actively participate on committees representing intra IT organizations.
· Demonstrate an understanding of business partner needs and manage business partner satisfaction relative to deliverables.
· Apply basic knowledge of industry and competitive environment in all facets of daily job functions.
· Consistently demonstrate knowledge seeking and sharing behaviors in the performance of daily work.
· Apply principles, concepts and practices of the A21 Competency Model for the Senior Analyst Level.
· Ensure that J&J information assets are appropriately identified and valued, and are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies.
· Ensure that security is considered and emphasized in all IM plans and actions.
Job Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Approximate experience or equivalent knowledge and skills necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities
3+ years with four-year degree or equivalent preferred
2+ years with advanced degree or equivalent preferred
Preferred but not essential Knowledge:
ERP/Systems knowledge including SAP, Adonix, BPCS
Project Management methodology
Additional Requirements
This position will work closely with the Head of IT to in developing strategy , direction and integrating new activities.
This position will represent Consumer France on chosen Regional and Global initiatives where applicable
Low/Medium travel dependent on project initiatives. Most general initiatives will require limited travel.

· This role is a pipe development role and is focused at high performers that have the potential to develop into IT Leader.
