  ESRI Designed and built an ANZMeta v1.2 compliant metadata editor for
  use with ArcGIS. The editor allows the user to create and maintain metadata
  stored as XML associated with spatialdatasets. Additionally, this project
  involved the creation of an XSL stylesheet for viewing of the metadata
  externally to the editor. The metadata editor has been made available to all
  users of ArcGIS Australia wide.
  Australian Bureau of Statistics Maintenance/ upgrade/ support of the GSP
  Geo Statistical Platform for the ABS. The GSP is a product marketed by the
  ABS that allows users to view and retrieve statistical data throughout
  Australia. The system incorporates advanced mapping, data retrieval and
  reporting functionality. This is a large application built using MS Visual Basic
  6 comprising nine OCX's and three DLLs. The OCX's include project
  explorers, data explorers as well map, query and report windows and The data
  is retrieved from several MS Access databases and fifteen shapefiles.
  Additionally the application allows users to import their own data and
  shapefiles for use with the system. As well as supporting the application
  maintenance also includes the installation scripts. These scripts are designed
  to work on all Microsoft platforms from Win95a to Win2000
  Environment Australia Second stage release of the NPI National Pollutant
  Inventory . The NPI is distributed by Environment Australia. It allows users
  to view pollutants emitted by various industries and organisations across
  Australia. This application includes standard mapping functionality view and
  select as well as an advanced ten-page query wizard to allow users to refine
  and subset data. Users can view the results of the data either on the map or as
  an HTML report.
  Transact Designed and implemented a map production utility that allows the
  user to print individual map sheets or entire map books for the suburbs and
  zones of Canberra. The utility stores revision and issue and amendment data
  associated with each map sheet. The layouts are built on-the-fly depending
  on which information the user is wishing to print. All spatial and attribute
  data is read from an MS SQL Server 2000 database. This utility has reduced
  the production of map books from half a day to just under five minutes.
  Whittlesea City Council Victoria Designed and implemented a utility
  which allowed the tracking point from a GPS to be read into ArcMap and
  displayed on the screen. The user can start, pause and stop the utility at any
  time. The positional accuracy of the GPS point was less than one metre. This
  utility is used within various applications that allow the user to monitor septic
  tanks, weed control and fire control.
  Australian Defence Force Analysis and design of an Interface based object
  model for use within Terrain Commander. Terrain Commander is a military
  unmanned monitoring system built by Textron, a US company.Also designed
  and implemented a mapping utility for use by the ADF at its artillery ranges
  throughout Australia. The utility was built as an OCX and ran inside
  LotusNotes. Locally modified data is uploaded to a sever in Canberra and
  checked for consistency before being inserted into an Oracle database.
