Objectives: Develop a core system to be implemented in all Schneider Electric factories and distribution centres throughout the world.
Position : Consultant for the Distribution Execution business area of Schneider Electric’s Global Business Competency Centre.
Responsibilities:
• Test and validate core model design in all Distribution Execution activities :
o Goods receipt and putaway processes
o Supply of components to production lines (pull list, pick list, kanban transfers)
o Pick/pack/ship processes in WM, HUM and LEO functionalities
o Customer returns
o Internal processes (physical inventory, internal movements, scrapping)
o RF supported processes
• Support roll out teams with local requirements and master data preparation
• Support factories and distribution centres on site at go-live (Hungary in October 2008, Australia in October 2009, USA in March 2010)
• Propose design solutions for processes to be implemented in next phases of the project and write functional specifications for system enhancements

SAP 4.7 Warehouse Management project

Objectives: Design Radio Frequency enabled transactions to support put away and picking processes with serial number capture.
Project particularities: Serial Number Management
• Analysis of existing WM processes
• Development of functional specifications for RF transactions
• Unit and integration tests

SAP 4.7 Warehouse Management project

Objectives: Develop a Radio Frequency enabled solution for receiving activities and material staging for production.
Project particularities: Storage Unit Management, RF functionalities
• Blueprint phase: analysis of existing processes and definition of new processes for inbound activities (goods receipts from vendors), internal activities (material staging for production, stock takes) and outbound activities (vendor returns, material scrapping)
• Realisation phase: WM configuration (inbound, outbound, replenishment, mobile data entry), functional specification development.
• System unit tests, integration tests, end user documentation
• Go-live support

SAP 4.7 consolidation project

Objectives: Consolidate Japan and Asia Pacific’s separate SAP system operations and data onto one common SAP environment
• Analysis of system discrepancies
• Configuration adjustments for MM standard functionalities (purchasing and inventory management) and cross application functionalities (batch management)
• Data migration (material masters, vendor masters, purchase info records, price conditions records), purchase orders, output condition records
• System unit tests, integration tests
• Go-live support.

System upgrade from SAP 4.5 to SAP 4.7

Objectives: Operate a smooth transition between the previous version and the new version of SAP
• Comparison of legacy system and new system with Intellicorp’s Assessor for SAP
• Analysis of assessment results for the MM module and configuration adjustments
• System unit tests, integration tests
• Go-live support.

• Warehouse management project (SAP 4.7)

Objectives: Develop a Radio Frequency enabled solution for the warehouse activities
• Blueprint phase: existing SAP system analysis (WM), recommendation for warehouse processes enhancements in inbound, outbound and replenishment activities.
• Realisation phase: WM configuration (inbound, outbound, replenishment, mobile data entry), functional specification development.
• System unit tests, integration tests, end user documentation
• Go-live support

Warehouse management project (SAP4.6b)

Objectives: Develop a more efficient material management concept for the ACCO enterprise that encompasses the physical management of materials as well as the required information management.
• Blueprint phase: existing SAP system analysis (MM-WM), documentation of customized transactions including Radio Frequency transactions
• Realisation phase: full WM configuration (inbound, outbound, replenishment, production interface, mobile data entry) and functional specification development for ACCO’s customized solution, including interface with a sortation system.
• System unit tests, integration tests, ABAP enhancement tests and validation, go-live support.
