Roles and Responsabilités :
• Execution of DPP (Daily Production Plan), material planning and availability as per DPP, manufacturing/assembling as per DPP.
• Work allocation to workmen/officers according to their respective skills/abilities and thereby ensuring effective utilization of manpower and the desired output (per day/shift).
• Coordinating with logistics and purchase for daily requirement of sub assemblies/components/hardware (from vendor) in order to ensure smooth and uninterrupted working of the assembly line.
• Coordinating with testing engineer regarding priority and order completion (stamping).
• Reporting/addressing quality issues to concerned authority/forum (Quality Circle Meetings) or finding alternative solution to maintain Quality.
• In case of a critical quality issue or machine breakdown; providing prompt alternatives in order to avoid line stoppage (idle time) without sacrificing quality.
• Arranging cross functional department meetings so as to resolve assembly problems.
• Availability of tools and equipments and also arranging for repairs & calibration/re-calibration of the same.
• Working jointly with Process Plant and Engineering for new assembly line setups, line improvements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safe working environment.
• Maintaining line discipline and safety.
• Coordinating with suppliers/vendors for faulty/missing components.
• Handling rectification of breakers.
• Monitoring, reporting and updating production/order status.
