Project Manager

Since February 2003 I worked for Bell Canada on the following projects:

« Extranet » project

To drive the Extranet project. The Extranet will be constituted of a fully integrated telecommunication network with multiple networking equipments which will offer to the National Bank different secured zones.

« Frisco Bay » project

To drive the Frisco Bay project. Migration of nine business entity from one X25 network to an IP network.

« Swift IP » project

To drive Swift IP project in his development phase. Migration of an X25 technology to an IP solution.

« Connexim » project

Following a corporate decision, I have been asked to transfer maintenance and survey of the National Bank network from Connexim to an internal service of Bell Canada. This has been concluded with success in March 2003.

« Proxymédia » project

To drive Proximedia project. Integration of IVR (Integrated Vocal Response) and MIS application at Proximedia.

« Succursales » Project

To drive Infrastructures in « Succursales » project. The architecture of « succursales » NBC has to be redrawn, the project will define a targeted architecture of all infrastructures with standards defined by the CAG (Corporate Architecture Group).

Project Manager

I have been chosen by Bell Canada to revise an offer of service which was presented initially by Bell Canada at the request of the National Bank. Offer service for setting up of a new "extranet" (connection between the Bank and its various customers). .I had two months to deliver to BNC a completely revised and improved plan. I was responsible for planning the new project as well as managing the project: SLA’s, Budget, Architecture, etc.

NT System Engineer

In a more explicit way, I took care of the administration, the installation, the configuration and the setting in service of different solutions of infrastructure network. I was in charge of the technical validation of different projects. I participated in the team's efforts to assure their good functioning. I guaranteed the respect of the standards, proposed solutions to develop and to maintain the local network concerning the security, the nomenclatures and the other relative norms in force to the management of the servers. (+ / - 500 servers)

Project leader

As coordinator of project, it was my role:

- To recommend, to order, to install and to maintain the material and the computer software
- To assure the technical support to the intern
- To plan and to coordinate interventions on the infrastructures
- To manage, to make to evolve and to maintain an optimal working of the network.

Realizations

- Reorganization of the team of installation of the servers.
- Redefinition of the standards of installation of the servers.
- Coordination many projects of the bank of one point of view installation and spreading of the servers

Administrator NT

I have been implied directly in the different Customers-Servers operations and everything that concerns the operations on the LAN / WAN. My experience includes the following responsibilities. Architecture, implementation and support of NT servers.
Automatic facilities of the BONES and applications.
Support customers, resolution of the problems.

Realizations

Under my "administrative cap ", I organized the service "horeca" (timetables, calculation of the wages, organization of work, engagement…)

Under my "administrator cap" all as the service "horeca" I organized the service "netsurfing" composed of a team of animators that helped the customers in their research on Internet or gave some help on the use of the internet.
