Change management / Business process improvement
Responsible for optimizing business processes that activate functionalities of the Amadeus booking system for customers. The change program focused on 4 different processes that involved several teams in various locations throughout the world.
In addition to apply the lean six sigma methodology:
stakeholders were involved in brainstorming to define and select improving solutions compliant to company’s objectives and strategy.
business cases were defined and approved by senior managers and the sponsoring director
requirements of the improving projects were transmitted to team leaders
improving projects were controlled and their progress reported to managers and sponsor
Improving solutions resulted in
process redesigns (with ARIS tool)
task automations
increases of the customer support efficiency and quality by
developing a worldwide community of technical specialists
facilitating the delivery of consultancy
enhancing the documentation and building a shared knowledge repository
Outsourcing project in Morocco
In charge of offshoring to Morocco the periodical updates of the technical Reference Manuals and the developments of Datasheets:
- definition of a management plan for the transfer of the activities
- involvement in the definition of the Service Level Agreement document
- strong stakeholder management
- definition of the IT infrastructure requirements
- involvement in the deployment of the IT infrastructure and report of dysfunctions
- interview of candidates to build an 8-member team
- training and coaching of the new team members
- new process setup to ensure the good coordination between French and Moroccan teams
Periodical updates of datasheet and technical manuals were performed by the Moroccan team in addition to the developments of new datasheets.
Virtual team management and Project management
Responsible for the coordination between French and Moroccan teams, and for the periodical updates of 8 Technical Reference Manuals performed by the outsourced Moroccan team:
- scheduling of product deliveries according to the program roadmap
- deployment of new monitoring processes to meet the virtual team management constraints
- control of the quality of the deliverables through key performance indicators
- management of changes in priorities caused by modifications of the program roadmap
- virtual team management
Responsible for the transfer of the Technical Manuals’ support to Bulgaria
Responsible for the outsourced periodical updates of 8 technical manuals:
- definition of a project charter
- definition of new processes related to the new outsourced IT infrastructure
- training and coaching of the new team members on processes and technical tasks
- quality control of the deliverables
More than 40 documents releases were delivered on time to customers.
Leading and development of a Technical Reference Manual
Responsible for developing a document gathering all the information needed to build low level software on a Texas Instruments microprocessor:
- definition of the project tasks, the task workload and the project schedule (MS Project)
- strong risk management
- coaching and leading of a 2-member team
- collaboration with multicultural internal teams
- involvement in the execution of the technical tasks which concerned the DMA, UART, Clock tree and power management parts of the microprocessor
A 2500-page technical manual was delivered on time to customers.
Research activities:
Superscalar processor architectures
- development of new algorithms in order to increase the performances of the high frequency processors. The algorithms focus on the reduction of the number of access conflicts at the instruction cache level and on the reduction of the aliasing inside the branch prediction tables
- design of a new data memory hierarchy which takes into account the critical level of the load instructions (during a 3-month mission at the University of Illinois)
ATM switch fabric architectures
- definition of a new hardware architecture of a routing ATM network
Software developments in a C environment
- development of a microprocessor’s simulators based on hardware descriptions
Leading the development of a software application
Development of a distributed application running on a PC cluster. This software allowed the automatic distribution of applications launched by several users on a PC cluster.
Teaching at the university of Toulouse
