I am in charge of the Record’in software development roadmap and architecture, as well as
for its commercial promotion.
It provides a service for guaranteeing traceability of data, in order to implement certified
communication channels between organizations requiring a high level of compliance in terms
of information and document management.
It applies to several domains like in healthcare for:
* Clinical studies

· temperature-controlled supply chain & localization - IoTs
In food industry for:
* Distribution / product traceability
· regulatory framework compliance for distribution
· temperature-controlled supply chain & localization - IoTs
· producer identification
Record'in is a Java/Javascript/RESTful Blockchain data and documents storage platform based
on Ethereum protocol (Ethereumj). It is designed to work for private or semi-public
consortium governance models.
The additional features to a standard blockchain are:
* Support for a data model like in a standard database, with relations between objects
* Authentication Layer
* Multi-level security layers based on ACLs over classes, user owned or individual objects
* Support for external documents storage
* GDPR compliance for personal data
Chief Technology Innovation Officer / Project Manager / Senior Developer 2017-2019
(Syentys SA - CH)
The mission was a continuation of the role of senior developer and project manager for Odoo
projects (formerly OpenERP).
I was in a key position to elaborate IT solutions at the interface between the customer and
interdisciplinary teams:
* Responsible for customer projects starting with planning up to acceptance
* Responsible for meeting deadlines, budgets and resource planning
* Applied and evolved on modern and effective project methods (agile and classic project
methodologies)
* Ensured the compliance with internal quality guidelines
* Took over the leadership of experienced architects and software engineers within
projects
Within this role, I was also committed to find out the best suitable and sustainable technical
solutions to answer business requirements.
My job consisted in selecting the best pieces of software and integrate them within a larger
software architecture to answer particular needs using Odoo, Linux and Docker.
Another aspect of my mission wasto define the technical standards (+ documentation writing)
of the company to increase the overall efficiency and teamwork organization for better project
developments, infrastructure maintenance and upgrade management.
Lead of Development and Integration 2015-2017 (dbi services - CH)
As part of the consulting time, I continued to provide competences in Java development and
for Documentum/D2 web front-end application.
Main role was to coordinate integration of third-party software products into a productive
Documentum environment. The mission also included advising aspects of design and/or

* Project management or project manager follow up according the technology
* Coordination of internal projects
- Development method and tools management:
* Technical survey for development languages, frameworks and tools

Support business developments around Java technologies
Java developer/software architect/middleware consultant 2012-2015 (dbi services CH)
Prior joining, dbi services was one of main customers in Philanthropix portfolio. In order to
support the fast-growing activity, first mission was to continue and improve the OpenERP
customization. This enabled the company to have a powerful steering tool for consulting and
project activities. From sales orders to invoices edition, the platform also integrates SLA based
contracts, reporting and a first set of analytical accounting figures. As needs are continuing to
grow, this project remained always ongoing, and new features were released about twice a
year.
On the other hand, the company wanted to develop a new business area, and offered the
opportunity to take part of the middleware team creation. Taking advantages of new
backgrounds and technical lead over Open Source components, adaptation was very fast in
order to provide expertise skills for this function.
Then, the focus was given to system engineering in technical complex environments, such as
insurance and international banking contexts in the Basel area.
Drawing support over Microsoft and Unix-like server operating systems, DMS integration
between Documentum components and thirds parties involved an interesting variety of
challenges.
By working with several teams having other scopes of competences, we always needed to stay
aware about broader issues and be able to enlarge our approach when requested.
Concluding that only few monitoring tools could handle an entire Documentum environment,
therefore a new project started to fill this gap. Objective was to provide a full integrated
solution based as far as possible 100% in Java (productive since 2016).
CEO/ Odoo Freelance 2009-2012 (Philanthropix FR)
My mission was to help small and mid-sized companies to find out which technology matched
better with their needs and budgets. The focus was given as far as possible on free and open
source solutions.
Thanks to their size, during all this time majority of them wished to have a single partner, with
to engage a true relationship of confidence. Thus, projects achievement needed a large scope
of competences from first contact, business analysis, negotiation and solution delivery.
Major challenge here was to convince them that free/open source - not well known -solutions
could reach the competitiveness and efficiency they were expecting for.
Main expertise area was in Odoo (OpenERP) installation and customization. The software
represented a good opportunity for their success, but also the biggest business critical solution
to provide.
At the end, Integration was only possible with strong skills in Operating System including
Windows, Windows Server and Linux, but also in networking administration (TCP/IP) and with
good general knowledges about many technologies (Apache, Bind, Active Directory etc... ).
More than only technical duties, this experience gave the possibility of a better understanding
across several domains, from local crafts to printing and IT industry.
As a self-employed, special care was also taken during time organization, cash flow
management and strategic guidelines analysis. This, to find out the right balance between
consulting and self-trainings, and keep the possibility to continue to develop a business model
around free/open source technologies based on services.
