I manage technical incidents and problems in the R&D IT environment for several thousand design engineers in over 20 countries. This complex global R&D design grid is built on more than 1,000 linux servers in datacentres around Europe, Asia and the USA.
From the NXP Headquarters in Eindhoven, I lead an internationally based team of linux specialists. With their help, I ensure 24/7 R&D IT continuity in the NXP R&D centers around the world.
In addition to this responsibility, in early 2011, I became Operations Manager Europe for the IT Secure environments in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
I report to the CTO of NXP, and provide a monthly report for the Board of Management.
I hold a monthly presentation for all IT staff around the globe (video conference) and conduct a daily call with the local IT managers.
I visit the European locations every few weeks and those further afield every few months.

During the time I worked at ING Bank NV I was involved in a.o. the integration of the National Post Office Bank into ING.
