U.S. SENATE project
– Software Development Project Manager
The objective of this project was to create a cohesive nationwide platform for the design of information systems to manage private (medical, educational, and legal) data for foster children.
- Strategically re-organized the project plan for this complex software development project: in order to show the client progress, the project was divided into 2 major phases, allowing for the demonstration of the systems capabilities months before completion.
- Leveled the project plan for all available resources, identified new resources to hire and sub-divided tasks in order to balance work between the key team members.
- Planned for, implemented and configured Project Server and Project Web Access for easy collaboration of the distributed team. I also configured SharePoint services to work with Project Server.
- Updated the project plan iteratively.

WEB 2.0 START-UP project – Strategic consultant and Project Manager
This challenging and exciting project aimed at creating a strong online presence through the building of a new social platform. The following deliverables were completed:
- Project discovery, scope definition and charter;
- Research and analysis related to: crowd sourcing, web and mobile functionalities, market, competition and definition of competitive advantage
- Proposed an innovative income strategy as well as an elevator pitch for series A of funding

• TELEPREÇ********: Consumer service intending to provide pricing information and the nearest retail location for a large list of consumer goods available in Brazil. The service was initially introduced free of charge for consumers in the city of Campinas, SP and offered at a 1-800 # and online.

• E-IMAGE: Re-organization of a translation company, leading to the development of fast and comprehensive editorial and translation services presented through improved online client interfaces, and supported by a suite of intranet tools for staff translators, including an extensive interactive knowledge base.
