My mission was to:

§ Evaluate any technical choice make by third-party vendors.
§ Test a beta version of the main application, which calculate the salary of 125.000 people.
§ Implement (acceptance) a 3-tiers Client/Server database application developed (in Natstar) for a mixed platform (Mainframe/NT4)
Large WAN>3000users, with 12LANs.
§ Test of the database transactions, using Tuxedo to connect DB2/MVS(mainframe) to DB2/UDB(NT).
§ The distribution program used was Vision64.

05/99 to 12/00: network consultant at ICCE, solutions and services provider in pharmaceutical industry(part-time contract). ICCE is a Belgian company with divisions in France(Paris), Turkey and Syria

§ Manage, monitor, and maintain smooth performance of a very busy data center.
§ Set up and maintain corporate LAN and WAN.
§ Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, firewalls, switches; and mobile hardware to measure Temperature/Pressure on clients sites.
§ Troubleshoot network performance and reliability issues.
§ Negotiate and maintain relationships with 3rd parties such as ISPs, VARs and consultants.
§ “ISO9002 certification process”: write and maintain implementation plans and frame on files server.
§ Provide training on Word/Excel to employees.
§ Maintenance of the Lucent PABX.

The network was a LAN using NT4 server(hardware RAID5 solution) with windows95/98 clients and NT Workstation.


03/00 to 11/00: technical support for the company NEUVIEME.
NEUVIEME is a Luxembourg telecom operator(small business), they have a Main switch installed and configured at Colt Brussels.
The switch is accessed and administrated by Softamed softwares running on an NT workstation(we’ve used PC anywhere for remote access).


05/00 to 10/00: network consultant at CNCD, a non-profit organization.

§ Install, configure, and maintain a windows NT4 LAN(40nodes) with Catalyst switches.
§ Negotiate and maintain relationships with 3rd parties such as ISPs, VARs and consultants.
§ The network connects to Internet with ADSL technology.

05/00 to 10/00: network consultant and administrator at BDTS, a service provider for pharmaceutical industry.

I was responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of the network.


10/99 to 01/01: I have supported and installed lot of LANs in many Small Business(accounting, architect,...)
