• Principal network engineer on the integration project with Musgrave Group into IBM managed services.
• Support and migration of SuperValu & Centra stores to Eircom MPLS and internet DMPVN backup solution with access to services and consolidated internet access.
• Planning, design and implementation of group core services from campus LAN to Datacentre and WAN environments across 28 core sites in two countries for retail and wholesale services in a 24/7 environment.
• Datacentre consolidation and migration from UK to Ireland
• Implementation of new documentation standard for all IBM Ireland managed network customers on corporate wiki.
• Main escalation point for all network issues related to Musgrave.

• Manage & maintain high volume 24/7 credit card processing network across 3 datacentres including MPLS network into client sites.
• Responsible for network security and PCI compliance on all network devices, hardening of all IOS and ASA & ACE devices & creating design documents for standardisation for network security.
• Design and implementation of a high availability VPN solution for file delivery to financial institutions.

• Design, build and install new roll-outs to sustain network efficiency in all offices and data centres.
• Manage multisite Cisco VoIP system with integration into BT Trader systems including 3rd party voice recording technology and full fault tolerance.
• Maintain OSPF throughout the network and redistribution of routes from external vendors into our network (BGP/RIP)
