Highways Agency is the UK government company in charge of UK motorway management.
The delivered OSS Solution (Netcool/Proviso/Remedy/Alcatel-Lucent Circee Network Inventory (GIS)) allows managing services based upon SDH/IP/MPLS/xDSL.
Act as a single Point Of Contact for all involved stakeholders for the delivery of Alcatel-Lucent Circee product. Circee is a Network Inventory based on an Oracle DB and a GIS. Deliveries include specifications, applications, interfaces, integrations and deployment on quality, time and within budget using PMI concept:
o Collect and define customers’ requirements.
o Architect/Design the Network Inventory solution with Circee.
o Coordinate and supervise the Team activities, task assignment and control.
o Plan, monitor & report project progress (risk management).
o Lead, support and provide guidance to the team (~7 to 10 people).
o Frequent UK travel to capture requirements through Workshops and during specification elaboration & reviews, integration test, training and on site acceptance phases.
o Manage and follow-up off-shored development activities.
- Definition & set up of OSS Business Processes for the new created NOC of Yemen Telecom.
The OSS delivered solution is based upon Netcool and Remedy.
eTOM and bottom-up approach have been used to define the problem management (incident management) Processes and Procedures. Client Top management inputs and local organization constraint have also been taken into account to describe people/groups’ roles & responsibilities: definitions of Level 1/2/3 Support duties in the NOC.
Set up, support and train NOC employees to their new assignment within the new organization.

Service Quality Management product, a Service Level Management product that allows managing SLA and Quality of delivered Telco operators’ services.
- Team Leader in System Test team responsible for the overall delivered Quality. In charge of defining and implementing HP OV SQM Functional and System tests (Endurance, Performance, Volume, Stress, Use Cases, Regression, Sizing).
- Use to perform integration in a rich Unix/Win technical environment since SQM is a Java/XML based solution that involves many third party products like Oracle, Tibco, Business Object, Rational Rose and HP Openview suites with Service Desk, Internet Services, Service Navigator, HP Openview Operations and TeMIP.
- Support and follow-up off-shored Cap Gemini project activities.
- Prepare Proof of Concept; conduct technical presentation and product demonstrations to customers during forums for GSM & GPRS solution set. Define customers use case with SQM R&D leaders and product management group.
- Deliver support to SQM customers on 24x7 basis.

HP Openview TeMIP Team. 01/2001 – 01/2003
TeMIP, a Fault Management System product that allows managing Telco operators’ equipments.
- Team Leader of the SQM-TeMIP project. Specify, design (Rational Rose), implement, test and document a liaison from SQM to TeMIP product. The goal is to convert SLA/Service degradations and violations expressed in XML into TeMIP OSI alarms. Using C++ SAX, STL & Tibco API.
- In the TeMIP-IP Discovery and Auto-Configuration project, design and implement the Auto-configuration module that permits to configure TeMIP internal objects with the automatic IP networks discovery.
Using C++ RogueWave & Visual TeMIP API.
