FUNCTION:
To provide full technical support in all aspects of Cabletron and Third Party hardware and software products for existing customers, potential customers, major accounts, Cabletron partners and both Internal and Field Sales staff.

2) Project RAS
RAS or Remote Access Server consists of Cisco routers, Server Windows NT and software CiscoSecure ACS. This network security software permits authentication, authorisation and accounting. Protocols used are Tacacs+ and Radius.

Network management is done by UNIX HP Open View station, SNMP agent(Cisco works, Netmetrix) .Corporate backbone is used by +-2000 users located in Brussels, Bretigny , Maastricht and Luxembourg. Users can have access via local LAN or remotely via Leased lines, PSTN lines or ISDN lines and they are using FTP and Telnet. Knowledge also of DOS and associated softwares working with Windows ( TCP/IP , Procomm, Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Access, Remedy...).

I was in charge of all of the Telecommunications aspects of a project for this company. This project was the automation of the Loto in Leipzig (Germany). GTECH is well known in UK as provider for the UK Loto (Camelot).

Management of telecoms network between customers, Europeans subsidiaries companies (for instance Interpac in France) and the headquarter in Los Angeles.
Technical support at Infonet Belgium (Interpac). Member of the team incharge of the day-to-day operation of the Belgian access point to the Infonet network. This includes installation and maintenance of all communications equipment’s, troubleshooting, solving and follow-up of customer’s problems. Interface with the Network Control Center to correct the problems. Network includes X25 protocols, asynchrons protocols
